Scout Shops

District Scout Shop

Blackdown Scout District operates a small Scout Shop from their base in Tangier Scout and Guide Centre in Taunton. This is easy to find being located behind the central bus station.

The shop is open term times on a Wednesday evening between 7pm and 9pm. The shop sells a wide range of Scouting items sch as Scouting Uniforms, Resource material and no end of souvenirs and presents.

Please note that the shop can only accept cash or cheque payments at present.

National Scout Shop

The Scout Association run a national shop where you can purchase items online. Shopping can be done online and they stock a wide range of Scouting materials and Outdoor kit.

With every uniform, badge, book or piece of outdoor kit you purchase from Scout Shops you are supporting a charity - The Scout Association.

Scout Shops ploughs all its profits back to Scouting, some of which are generated locally via District Scout Shops. This ensures the charity can keep Scouting affordable and accessible to all communities across the UK.
