Cub Scouts get the chance to try lots of fun activities such as games, badge work, sports and practical skills. 1st Wellington currently has three Cub sections for young people ages 8 - 10 1/2.

Scouts take part in a programme that helps them to find out about the world in which they live, encourages them to know their own abilities and the importance of keeping fit and helps develop their creative talents. 1st Wellington currently has two Scout sections for young people ages 10 1/2 - 14.

Explorer Scouts are focussed on having fun while developing different activity and leadership skills around personal interests or goals. 1st Wellington Explorer Unit is provided in partnership with Taunton Distict and is open to young people ages 14 - 18.
