Welcome the the website of the 1st Wellington Scout Group, based in Wellington, Somerset, United Kingdom.

We are one of the oldest Group in the District and one of the largest catering for all age ranges.

We are located in Wellington, a small town in the heart of the West Country. Wellington lies about 7 miles south west of Taunton, the county town of Somerset. Somerset is one of the South West counties of England and is famed for its cider making.

We are situated at the foot of the Blackdown Hills, officially an Area of Outstanding Beauty. Naturally, we tend to use the rural location to the full and have use of various areas of woodland in the hills as well as at the official District Camp Site.
